红格尔矿区位于额合宝力格复向斜内,含煤层为白垩系下统巴彦花组中段[1]。煤层主要赋存在复向斜的次级向斜中。分析认为额合宝力格煤田形成过程为:早期断陷型盆地,随着地壳活动的变缓,基底下沉,转为坳陷型湖相沉积环境,经淤浅后成为浅湖~沼泽相,在具备相对稳定的古环境下下,形成含煤岩段及煤层。通过对煤田赋存状态的分析,了解了其形成和分布规律,为科学找煤,资源前景预测提供依据。
