Management of Joint Ventures There are two main issues related to the management of joint ventures: a) the composition of the board of directors and its procedures; b) the appointment of the chairman or general manager and other officials in the joint venture and the determination of their authority. In Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland and Romania, there are three groups of joint venture organizations that have the authority to make decisions on management. They are shareholders (at shareholders’ meetings), boards of directors and individual officers of the company. In these countries, unlike JV, Yugoslavia’s unique joint-venture system has shown many features of the limited partnership and worker autonomy. In Yugoslavia, the right of the joint venture to make a resolution is passed by the workers themselves through the plenary session of the General Assembly
