这是一座塔中塔,里面是砖塔,外面包裹一座木结构塔。十年前,我来过这里。那时,,只看到荒草萋萋中一座将要倒圮的破塔。据说,二十世纪初的一个夜晚,外塔突然无缘无故地发出轰然巨响,塔顶顷刻间崩折,瓦块、木头椽子山呼海啸般落下。一座好端端的外塔即刻剩下半截,将内塔暴露在光天化日之下。幸好内塔损伤不大,只撞伤了一点角,塔身上的精细雕刻千佛像和卧佛完好无损。是何原因使外塔倒塌的,至今没有留下一点传说。
