随着“金盾工程”建设的逐步推进,公安信息化建设程度得到了很大的提高,在此背景下,公安系统的数据量以指数方式迅速增长。与此同时,数据的管理和综合应用变得越来越复杂,而这些数据一旦遭到破坏或丢失、就会造成不可估量的后果。因此,灾备系统建设也成为公安系统信息化建设中必不可少的环节。
