房地产业是国民经济中一个重要基础性、先导性产业。改革开放以来,特别是中共14大和邓小平南巡重要谈话以来,我国经济持续高速增长,房地产业也有了很大发展。1993年全国完成房地产开发投资即达1850亿元,其中商品房投资1320亿元;施工商品房3.5亿平方米,其中新开工2.1亿平方米,竣工商品房1.2亿平方米。全国房地产开发企业达20000多家,其中外资独资房地产开发公司896家,中外合资和中外合作房地产开发公司有4239家。92年房地产利用外资项目6650个,协议投资金额达280亿美元。房地产业的迅速发展,对于实现土地资源的优化配置,改善投资环境,提高群众居住水平,带动其他产业的发展,引进国外资金和技术、设备,起到了积极作用。
The real estate industry is an important basic and leading industry in the national economy. Since the reform and opening up, especially since the 14th CPC National Congress and Deng Xiaoping’s important speech on the southern tour, the economy of our country has enjoyed sustained and rapid growth and the real estate industry has also made great progress. In 1993, the investment in real estate development in China reached 185 billion yuan, of which 132 billion yuan was invested in commercial buildings; 350 million square meters of commercial housing was constructed, of which 210 million square meters were newly started and 120 million square meters were completed. There are more than 20,000 national real estate development enterprises, including 896 wholly foreign owned real estate development companies and 4,239 Sino-foreign joint ventures and Sino-foreign cooperative real estate development companies. In 1992, there were 6,650 foreign-funded projects in real estate, with an investment of 28 billion U.S. dollars. The rapid development of the real estate industry has played a positive role in realizing the optimal allocation of land resources, improving the investment environment, raising the living standards of the masses, driving the development of other industries, and introducing foreign capital and technology and equipment.
