胡锦涛同志在党的十七大报告中提出,在新的发展阶段继续全面建设小康社会、发展中国特色社会主义,必须坚持以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入贯彻落实科学发展观。科学发展观,是马克思主义关于发展的世界观和方法论的具体体现,是我国经济社会发展的重要指导方针,是发展中国特色社会主义必须坚持和贯彻的重大战略思想。
Comrade Hu Jintao pointed out in the report to the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that to continue building an overall well-to-do society and to develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new stage of development, we must adhere to Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of Three Represents and thoroughly implement it Scientific concept of development. The scientific concept of development is a concrete manifestation of the Marxist world outlook and methodology on development and an important guideline for China’s economic and social development. It is a major strategic concept that must be upheld and implemented in developing socialism with Chinese characteristics.
