一九八○年,我在编写《古建筑游览指南》·湖北篇之余,就深想对武汉市的近代建筑进行一些探究,并多方求索包括武汉大学旧校园建筑在内的近代建筑的重点图、文资料,做了一些工作.后来李传义同志终于取得了已在武大档案中沉睡了半个多世纪形将霉烂的武汉大学旧校园建筑的设计底图,经过扩大线索,又续有所得.取得了可喜的成绩。前年开第一次研讨会,到现在已一年半了,而我由于工作繁忙,即使对于这一小地区的近代建筑
In 1980, when I was writing the “Guide to the Ancient Architecture Tour” and the Hubei chapter, I deeply thought about exploring the modern architecture of Wuhan and looked for the focus of modern architecture including the old campus building of Wuhan University. The figures and texts did some work. Later, Comrade Li Chuanyi finally obtained the design base map of the old campus building of Wuhan University that had slept for more than half a century in the archives of Wuhan University. After expanding the clues, he continued to get the results. Have achieved gratifying results. The first seminar was held the year before and it is now a year and a half since I was busy with my work, even for the modern architecture of this small area.
