本文基于1992-2013年省级面板数据从省区层面的视角研究了出口增长的影响因素,特别强调基于市场整合的各省区国内市场规模对出口增长的作用。研究结果显示,基于市场整合条件下的国内市场规模对出口增长具有重要促进作用,该结论不因模型控制变量的不同而不同。除区位因素对省区出口起阻碍作用外,外商直接投资、进口、劳动生产率、技术水平和贸易伙伴国的经济增长都在不同程度上对省区层面的出口具有促进作用。利用东、中、西部地区三个子样本所做的实证分析结果与全国的情况基本一致,因而本文的分析结果具有很强的稳健性。
Based on the provincial panel data from 1992 to 2013, this paper studies the factors that affect the export growth from the perspective of the provincial level, with particular emphasis on the role of the domestic market size of provinces and autonomous regions in export growth based on market consolidation. The results show that the size of the domestic market under the condition of market consolidation plays an important role in promoting the export growth, and the conclusion is not different from the model control variables. Except for the location factors impeding the export of provinces and autonomous regions, foreign direct investment, import, labor productivity, technological level and economic growth of the trading partner countries all contribute to the provincial level export to varying degrees. The results of empirical analysis using the three sub-samples from the eastern, central and western regions are basically the same as those in China. Therefore, the analysis results in this paper are robust.
