A small pierced salt dome across the Gulf of Mexico recorded information on several parallel lines using scanning and single-frequency signals. In this paper, the general seismogram and the equivalent two-dimensional holographic reconstruction are listed to compare the effects of these two methods on characterizing scattering sources. A holographic recapture includes several near-vertical lines that may be related to a fault. Using a combined excitation technique with a stationary offshore cable perpendicular to the source line after deployment, we generated a three-dimensional holographic record. The reproduction of the holographic record at two depths is shown. These images have dense high-intensity scattering points outside the salt dome boundaries.
