本研究运用中国学习者英语口语语料库(COLSEC),并以圣塔芭芭拉美语口语语料库(SBCSAE)为参照,研究中国大学生英语口语中强调性元话语的使用特点和规律。研究结果发现:第一,中国大学生在英语口语中使用的强调性元话语呈现出典型性与层阶性的特点。第二,中国大学生在英语口语中使用的强调性元话语与英语母语者相比在使用类型上基本相似。第三,中国大学生在英语口语中使用的强调性元话语与英语母语者相比在使用频率上有不一致现象,主要表现为very等词的过度使用。
In this study, the Chinese learners’ spoken English corpus (COLSEC) was used, and the characteristics and laws of the use of the emphasis meta-discourse in Chinese college students spoken English were studied with reference to SBCSAE. The findings show that: First, the emphasis of meta-discourse used by Chinese college students in oral English is typical and hierarchical. Second, the emphasis on Chinese meta-discourse used by Chinese college students in spoken English is similar to that of native English speakers. Thirdly, there are inconsistencies in the frequency of use of the stressed meta-discourse used by Chinese college students in spoken English as compared with native English speakers, mainly manifested as overuse of very.
