从苏区到延安,万水千山,漫漫长征路上倒下了多少革命先烈。第二次国内革命战争时期,江西省兴国县全县23万人口中,参军参战达8万人之多,占青壮年的80%。涌现革命烈士23179名,其中牺牲在长征路上的烈士12038人,几乎每一公里长征路上就有一名兴国籍战士倒下。兴国这块红土地,孕育了一批批优秀人才。全县共有长征老干部500余人,培养造就了肖华、陈奇涵等54位共和国将军,被人们誉为“将军县”。这里讲述的是毛泽东与几位兴国籍将军在工作、学习、生活上的一些鲜为人知的故事。
