在建设部科技局的支持下,由清华大学建筑系教授汪坦先生主持的“中国近代建筑史研究讨论会”,1986年10月14日至16日在北京召开。全国数十所高等建筑院校、设计院、杂志社和出版社,以及有关单位的代表出席了会议。与会代表提交论文16篇,反映了近年来国内从多种角度、以多种方法研究中国近代建筑历史的成果。这些论文已由汪坦先生撰写了序言,汇编成册;并将于明年上半年由《华中建筑》杂志专辑出版。这些论文多数为中青年学者和研究生的辛劳,也有多年致力于我国近代建筑研究的历史学家的成
Under the support of the Ministry of Construction’s Science and Technology Bureau, the “China Modern Architecture Research Seminar” hosted by Mr. Wang Tan, Professor of Architecture Department of Tsinghua University, was held in Beijing from October 14th to 16th, 1986. Dozens of universities, design institutes, magazines, publishers and representatives from relevant institutions attended the conference. The participants presented 16 papers, which reflected the achievements of China’s modern architecture history from various angles and in various ways in recent years. These papers have been written by Mr. Wang Tan and compiled into volumes; they will be published in the album “Huazhong Architecture” in the first half of next year. Most of these papers are the hard work of young and middle-aged scholars and graduate students, and there are also historians who have devoted themselves to the study of modern architecture in China for many years.
