外淋巴瘘与鼓室交通,常合并脑膜炎反复发作。瘘孔可位于咽鼓管顶壁、鼓岬,但最多见于前庭窗缘或镫骨底板缺损,后者文献中已报告多例。脑膜炎首次发作的年龄3个月～13岁。有的合并其它先天畸形,特别是Klippel-Feil综合征或伴有Mondini型发育不良的放射学表现。值得注意的是,仅4例有双侧耳聋且均未提到已发现瘘孔患耳之对侧耳镫骨底板是
