1992年世界经济就全般来说是颇为不妙的。亚洲开发银行估计今年仅能增长1％,而去年全球经济停滞,明年也只能增长2％。其原因主要是由美国经济衰退造成的,西欧、北美不景气在继续,日本的增长速度也降下来,今年达到3％就算不错。在这种情况下,亚洲却是“一枝独秀”,东亚甚至连续成为世界经济的“超级明星”。有一些特点是值得—提的。
The world economy in 1992 was generally not good for all. The Asian Development Bank estimates that it will only grow by 1% this year, while last year’s global economic stagnation will only grow by 2% next year. The reason is mainly caused by the economic recession in the United States. The recession in Western Europe and North America continues. The growth rate in Japan has also dropped to 3% this year, which is not bad. In this case, Asia is “outstanding.” East Asia even has continuously become the “superstar” of the world economy.
