对不同国家科学家之间的合作做微观分析 ,很能使人了解科学研究复杂的趋势、某一国家在特定科学领域所处的地位 ,以及文化变量对科学交流的影响。科学家以何种方式合作 ,总是取决于诸多因素的复杂作用 ,而且处于不同位置的人会以不同的眼光看待它。本文考察了法国和委内瑞拉大学科学家之间的一个合作项目 ,研究生合作项目 (PCP)。这个项目的目的是在两国最好的实验室之间建立联系 ,并吸引工业界的合作者 ,让他们参与实验室确定研究课题的决定。这个项目是在催化领域建立合作。这个领域在经济和地理战略上非常重要 ,因为石油是一种重要资源。该项目已经开展了很长时间 ,并取得了丰硕的成果。
A micro-analysis of the cooperation among scientists from different countries makes it possible to understand the complex trend of scientific research, the position of a country in a particular scientific field, and the impact of cultural variables on science exchange. The way scientists work together always depends on the complex role of many factors, and people in different positions view it differently. This article examines a cooperation project between French and Venezuelan scientists, the Graduate Cooperation Project (PCP). The purpose of this project is to establish links between the best laboratories in the two countries and to attract industry collaborators to participate in laboratory decisions on research topics. This project is to establish cooperation in the field of catalysis. This area is very economic and geostrategic, as oil is a vital resource. The project has been going on for a long time and has yielded fruitful results.
