编制县土壤图,及在此基础上编制出与农业生产有关的各种专业图幅,能直接为制订县级农业区划和各项科学种田措施服务,因此,编制出一幅专业内容丰富,制图精度高的县级土壤图,是这次土壤普查的主要成果.县级土壤图是根据各公社的大比例尺土壤图及有关土壤普查资料,按1/5万或1/10万比例尺精度要求缩编而成.土种为主要上图单元.县土壤图上不仅反映全县主要土壤类型的基本分布规律,也反映区域性的土壤组合分布特点和土壤农业利用状况,以此作为县级农业区划的主要依据.同时,编制出的土壤图,不仅要求精度高,还必须图面清晰易读,美观大方,能便于县级有关部门的直接应用.现就笔者近几年来参予土壤普查的实践体会,将县级土壤图的缩编程序和方法介绍如下.
