玉米矮花叶病是我国玉米上的重要病害之一,近几年在玉米主产区均有不同程度的发生,北京、天津、河北、甘肃、山东、山西、辽宁等省市严重流行,损失达20%~80%。河北省承德60年代曾为矮花叶病偶发区,近几年骨干自交系发病率高达80%~100%,损失惨重。 玉米种子可以携带矮花叶病毒,因此既可以随种子调运远距离传播,扩大疫情,又可以增加田间发病和初侵染源,加重病害流行。1978年甘肃省农科院植保所首次发现某些玉米自交系种子可以带毒,带毒率为0.1~0.4%。最近研究结果显示,玉米种子带毒材料份数和带毒率平均较70年代末大幅度上升。调查的
