腹泻是发展中国家与传染病有关的重要公共卫生问题之一。不同国家的调查报告表明许多肠道寄生虫与腹泻有关。但要判断寄生虫感染对腹泻起何等作用并不容易。主要原因是在腹泻组和对照组中都发现有寄生虫。本文论述了在肯尼亚蒙巴萨岛进行的有关肠道寄生虫与腹泻关系的研究。
Diarrhea is one of the major public health issues related to communicable diseases in developing countries. Surveys in different countries show that many intestinal parasites are associated with diarrhea. However, it is not easy to determine the role of parasitic infections in diarrhea. The main reason is that parasites are found in diarrhea and control groups. This article discusses the study of the relationship between intestinal parasites and diarrhea in Mombasa Island, Kenya.
