根据当前草坪业的发展,人们对草坪种类、数量和质量不断提高的要求。本文就内蒙古呼和浩特地区冬季寒冷、春季干旱多风、蒸发量大、无霜期短的典型大陆性气候条件下,通过试验认为比较优良的冷季型草坪植物有:草地早熟禾柔软整齐,匍匐剪股颖生长速度快、紫羊茅叶片纤细浓绿、黑麦草色泽亮绿、猫尾草独特别致、野生白三叶抗寒性能强等。除黑麦草有待解决越冬问题外,上述诸草的绿色期分别长达250天、220天、230天和200天左右。另就草坪铺建前的整地、种植时间和方法加以说明。
