美国波士顿东北大学药物化学教授兼该大学药学及卫生科学研究院院长纽迈尔(John L. Dr. John L. Neumeyer, a professor of medicinal chemistry at Northeastern University in Boston and director of the University’s Institute of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, was twice invited to visit in 1980 and 1981. The most recent publication in January 1982, American Pharmacy, Vol. 22, No. 1, pp. 21-21, published an article on the visit to China. The title is: Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Industry in the People’s Republic of China - Past, Present and Future. Praised the achievements made by the medical industry in new China for more than 30 years. He said: Former China, a country that was once famine-stricken, epidemic-prone and lacking in medical personnel, has undergone thorough and rapid changes in the three decades after liberation.
