《一个人的武林》这一部武术电影,经典地在现代背景下塑造了两个武林高手,一个是武痴封于修,另外一个是夏侯武。可以说整部电影重点也在于从二人的经历和思想入手,探讨武术哲学的真义。夏侯武曾经是一个武痴,但是他后来因为失手打死了人,在香港一监狱服刑,期间整个人彻底反思了当年自己错手杀人的过错,也明白了追求天下第一,是没有意义的。因此,夏侯武后面配合香港警察调查封于修的连环杀人事件时候,才能够更加明白作为武痴的封于修
