新《课程标准》倡导教师在教学中要注重课程资源的开发与利用,鼓励教师成为数学探究课题的创造者,建议了解与中学数学知识有关的扩展知识和内在的数学思想,认真思考其中的一些问题,并积累指导学生进行探究的资源;而近几年的高考试题则较好地表现出教材的基础作用——教材是高考试题的来源,即使是一些综合题也是教材例题的加工和拓展,为此,如何充分挖掘教材潜力,对教材例题(或习题)进行适当的扩张,是教师们在教学中值得研究的问题.
