旅居巴黎的几年中,我最喜欢带朋友参观的景点是巴黎伤残军人疗养院,即荣军院,不仅因为它是巴黎市区内最美丽的圆顶建筑,是法兰西建筑史上的杰作,更重要的是因为有着金碧辉煌圆顶的拿破仑墓就坐落在这组建筑群中。这里对这位征战一生的军事元帅来说,无疑是一个好的归宿。目前荣军院只有一小部分仍然作为伤残军人疗养院使用,有大约100名伤残军人住在这里。荣军院坐落在巴黎市中心区、塞纳河左岸,距离雄伟的埃菲尔铁塔不过步行10多分钟路程。
In my few years living in Paris, my favorite spot to visit with friends is the Paris Disabled Veterans’ Sanatorium, the Invalides, not only because it is the most beautiful dome in the city of Paris, but also a masterpiece in the history of the French architecture, Because of the magnificent Napoleon’s tomb with its magnificent domes. It is a good destination for this military marshal who has been in battle all his life. Currently only a small percentage of Invalides are still used as sanatoriums for disabled soldiers and about 100 disabled soldiers live here. Les Invalides is located in the heart of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine, just over a 10-minute walk from the majestic Eiffel Tower.
