中国戏剧家协会和中国音乐家协会联合召开的新歌剧讨论会已于二月十五日开始举行。参加座谈会的戏剧家、音乐家、批评家有田汉、强庚、周巍峙、塞克、贺敬之、马可、孙慎、李劫夫、舒强、芦肃、丁毅、侣朋、王朝闻、刘郁民、王昆、郭兰英等及北京、天津、上海、安徽、四川、沈阳、西安、哈尔宾、山西等地及部队文工团的新歌剧工作者一百七十余人。讨论会将着重在新歌剧发展的基础和方向问题上展开讨论。对有关新歌剧的传统问题,新歌剧如何继承民族传统,
The New Opera Symposium jointly organized by the Chinese Dramatists Association and the Chinese Musicians Association began on February 15. Dramatists, musicians and critics who participated in the symposium included Tian Han, Qiang Geng, Zhou Weizhi, Seck, He Jingzhi, Marco, Sun Shen, Li Jiefu, Shu Qiang, Lu Su, Ding Yi, Lü Peng, , Liu Yu-min, Wang Kun and Guo Lanying, and more than 170 new opera workers from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Anhui, Sichuan, Shenyang, Xi’an, Harbin, Shanxi and other units. The seminar will focus on the development of the new opera based on the issue and direction to start discussions.
