曾经,乃至现在,机型同质化、功能同质化,甚至界面同质化是困扰车载主机行业的一大瓶颈。车载主机试水信息服务早就有人提出过设想,如早期CarPC机型就是雏形,但毕竟车载主机与车载电脑完全是两种不同的硬件架构,真正意义上的车载信息服务功能性应用是以一键导航功能为先导,此后逐步扩展到行车安全、资讯服务等多种领域。网络是个开放性的平台,车载主机信息服务无论是通过GPRS还是3G卡和互联网实现接驳,也具备这个特征。车载信息服务最大的特点在于是以汽车为载体,相比其它具有网络功能的终端设备,车载主机的信息服务功能更多的应该具备与车相关的特点,如行车安全、紧急救援等,而不是钟情于资讯、股票、聊天等华而不实的功能,因此与手机等终端通信设备相比,车载主机的应用范围具有局限性,这导致其功能同样不能和手机等终端设备产生过多重叠。否则,试问用手机看新闻或者查股票是比车载主机上查更方便还是更麻烦?目前,行业内有影响的带后台信息服务功能的主流机型有十余款,国外的发展证明了,车载信息服务必将是今后的主流趋势。尽管如此,离大面积的投入实用,还有很长的一段路要走。本期以专题形式对行业内部分带后台服务功能的主机进行概览,由于篇幅有限及相关信息的更新速度,如有疏漏之处,欢迎批评指正!(排名不分先后顺序)
