周昭怡同志是我国著名的女书法家。她的书法作品以其精深的功力,雄健秀韵的风格为海内外所瞩目。周老出生于1912年,湖南长沙人。1936年毕业于湖南大学文学系。先后任湖南周南女子中学校长、长沙市第十四中学校长,从事教育工作40多年,认真治学,乐育英才,忠诚于教育事业,培养了大批有用人才。教学之余,留心翰墨,篆隶楷行,造诣均深。她的事迹载入《华夏妇女名人词典》。
Comrade Zhou Zhaoyi is a famous female calligrapher in our country. Her calligraphy works with its profound skill, handsome show style for domestic and foreign attention. Zhou was born in 1912 in Changsha, Hunan. In 1936 graduated from Hunan University Department of literature. Has served as president of Hunan Zhounan Girls High School, Changsha City, the fourteenth high school principals, engaged in education for more than 40 years, a serious study, education and excellence, loyal to education, training a large number of useful personnel. While teaching, pay attention to Han Mo, Zhuan Li Kai line, attainments are deep. Her deeds are included in the “Chinese Women Celebrity Dictionary.”
