January 1989 Japanese Literature and Art Spring and Autumn Publishing House launched the “Western Pacific Times - Asia's new industrial countries, the political economy,” a book. The book examines in detail the status quo in the Western Pacific region, analyzes the causes of its rise, predicts the inevitability of the advent of the “Western Pacific Age,” and describes the characteristics of this era.
