四国女排邀请赛,于5月27日在北京首都体育馆落下帷幕。中国女排技压群芳以四战全胜仅负1局的优异成绩双双夺得“红双喜杯”和“红塔杯”。美国队和古巴队战绩都是四战2胜2负,日本队四战皆负,存在着档次上的差距。今年初有五名新手“加盟”的中国队,队员团结协作、奋力拼搏,继承了老女排技术全面和快、变、活的进攻特点。全队有明显的进步与提高。但是也应该清醒地看到这两个冠军奖杯的“份量”并不很“重”。原因有四: 一是世锦赛霸主苏联队“闭门修身”未参赛。日前在瑞士举办的国际女排邀请赛上,苏联队以世锦赛时的六名主力原班人马出阵,力克中国、古巴等诸强,再次显示出称霸的实力和水平。世界女排诸强教头也承认,苏联队实力雄厚、处于鼎盛时期。
