《吕氏春秋》以君人治国学说为主干,管理者人格修养、管理通则和操作权术为其中的重点问题。其主张管理者应该修养成智通大道、至公无私的人格;其关于管理通则的论说归宗于道家无为论,辅之以儒家的德治思想而兼采法家学说;其管理权术以“贵因”论为根基,扩展到政治、军事领域,论及因时改制、把握机遇、刺激民欲以优化管理效果、捐弃小名小利以成就大功等问题。其中许多于今仍有参考价值。
