白马中学是江阳区弥陀镇一所片区中学。我校地处江南片区弥陀镇牌坊村,距城26公里,与合江县大桥乡接壤,是泸州江阳区进入合江、贵州的南大门。由于受政府执法不力和社会不良风气的影响,每年都有二、三十名学生辍学。分析学生辍学的原因,既多样,又复杂、既现实、又合情。大道理不完全管得住小道理。每年大量的学生辍学形成一个严重的社会问题。但学校领导、教师不懈努力、走村串户广泛宣传《义务教育法》,在就对“农村初中学生辍学原因及对策研究”进行了探索,学生辍学得到了有效的控制,取得了一定的成绩。
