绞股蓝,又名七叶胆,属葫芦科.系多年生草质藤木植物,通常生有卵状小叶5片,有时7片,叶互生,节上有须根.雌雄异株,浆果黑色,其中有种子2～3粒.一般年收2次,管好可收3～4次,一般亩产干草200～250公斤.绞股蓝是一种清凉解毒,止咳祛痰的中草药.经化验,它所含15种皂甙中,有4种皂甙的结构与人参完全相同,其余11种也与人参成分相似.故绞股蓝又有“第二人参”之誉.日本临床药理试验,从绞股蓝中提取的皂甙对一些癌症有显著的抑制作用.1980以
