1984年8月,省林业厅对省林科所和秦皇岛市林业局种苗场,关于“山海关杨的研究”项目,组织了技术鉴定。专家们一致认为,山海关杨具有生长快、适应性强、抗性强、易繁殖、材质好等优良特性,无论是群众造林,还是建立杨树林基地,都是值得重视的优良树种。近几年来,山海关杨已成为河北省东部地区植树造林的重要树种,在京津周围绿化工程造林中深受欢迎。1989年9月,省林业厅召开了山海关杨推广会议,明确指出,山海关杨向河北省中、南部地区扩展。为了更好地配合山海关杨推广工作,本期发表了主持研究山海关杨的同志的文章,着重介绍此树种的育苗造林技术要点,以此供大家参考。
In August 1984, the Provincial Forestry Department organized technical appraisals on the project of “Research on Shanhaiguan Yang” on the Seedling Farm of Forestry Bureau of Qinlingdao City and Forestry Bureau of Qinhuangdao City. Experts agree that Shanhaiguan Yang has excellent characteristics such as rapid growth, strong adaptability, strong resistance, easy reproduction and good material quality. Both the afforestation by the masses and the establishment of the poplar forest base are good tree species worthy of attention. In recent years, Shanhaiguan Yang has become an important species of afforestation in the eastern part of Hebei Province and is very popular among afforestation projects around Beijing and Tianjin. In September 1989, the Provincial Forestry Department held the promotion meeting of Shanhaiguan Yang, clearly pointed out that Shanhaiguan Yang extended to the central and southern parts of Hebei Province.
