From 1997 to 1999, we treated 17 cases of pediatric forelimb fractures that had failed to be treated by NiTi shape memory alloy compression pedicle screw fixation with satisfactory results. The report is summarized as follows. 1 Clinical data The group of 17 cases, 12 males and 5 females. Age 8 to 12 years old.
