金秋十月,刚刚结束的上海设计之都活动周期间举办的国际金属工艺暨首饰艺术展,为上海带来一场国际金工首饰设计艺术盛会,这是上海首次举办的国际性规模金工与首饰艺术展览会,被业界誉为重塑了上海作为中国首饰风向标的影响力。上海是中国现代珠宝首饰业的发源地,自清道光二十三年(1843年)开埠后,上海的钟表珠宝商业是最先繁荣发展的行业之一,而老城厢地区从十六铺到董家渡黄浦江沿线一带早在开埠前已有珠宝首饰店先后形成。据史料记载,19世纪中叶,城隍庙周边已拥有珠宝首饰、古董店近40家。上海也是中国最早引入现代珠宝首饰设计与制作工艺的城
In the autumn of October, the International Metalwork & Jewelery Art Exhibition held during the Shanghai Design Capital’s Week of Activities just brought an international artisan jewelry design art event to Shanghai, which is the first international art and metalworking and jewelry fair held in Shanghai Exhibition, praised by the industry as reshaping the influence of Shanghai as the benchmark of Chinese jewelry.
