Eugene Hill Road changed the way we look at our bodies. Although he was born a century and a half ago, his actions still affect us today. The cause he pioneered is even more influential than ever before. His physique infiltrated people of all walks of life and encouraged countless people to act to change themselves. The magnificent and irresistible entry of the Hill Road into the movement of people is like a meteor on the canopy. I do not know where it came from, but it illuminates the Victorian sports and the stage. He helped to change bodybuilding from a profession of just a few devout believers into a respected sport, a great teacher, popularizer, and performing artist.
