暴发型肝炎又称重型肝炎、急性恶性型肝炎。一般起病骤急,多于发病后1～2周内由于肝机能衰竭而死亡。本病死亡率极高,国内金问涛1961年曾报告46例,43例死亡(占93.5%);1965年山东省立医院内科报导死亡率达96%。我科从1972年3月15日至5月28日止,先后收治4例,采用中西医结合疗法,顺利治愈出院,虽例数很少,但提出了治疗该病的苗头,现小结如下。
