桂江中游的漓江,河道分岔明显,沙洲发育,清澈的江水曲折迂回地穿过嶙峋峻峭的山峰,一路南下来到广西桂林市平乐县城印山,与荔江、茶江汇入桂江下游,也就是桂江主河段,继续向南而去。老百姓口中的桂江,是从印山开始的。桂江水急滩多,两岸山峰的岩石,由单一的溶岩渐被砂岩、花岗岩取代。漓江尽处,另一种美丽登台。
