The Bank of China Financial Building is a business, negotiating and office building for the Bank of China and the People’s Insurance Company of China. It was started in 1982 and completed at the end of 1985 with a total construction period of 36 months. I. Project Overview The project has a total construction area of 27,285 m2, a main building area of 18,696 m2, and a podium building area of 8,589 m2. It consists of four sections. The basic conditions are as follows: Section I (Main Building) 5 floors underground, 22 floors above ground (Including the elevator engine room and the water tank room), the underground foundation layer is -14.74m deep, the highest point of the parapet wall is 81.10m, the building length is 30.90m, the width is 26.80m, and the standard layer height is 3.60m.
