Multi-faceted and complex Africa is often misunderstood by the world. As a photographer, Pascal Maitre has traveled to Africa many times over the past 30 years, taking photos of some of the world’s top magazines and is well aware of this vast expanse of land. Into the life of Africans 20 years ago, I have traveled more than 30 countries in the African continent, some of which have been to more than a dozen times, so Africa gives me more or less a feeling of “home ”.
