火焰淬火时由于水嘴与火嘴的行进速度有时不一致,水压波动,火焰不稳定及模具形状的影响,淬火冷却水往往妨碍加热的正常进行,或者延长加热时间,或者飞溅的水使火焰熄灭。在加热时,一旦熄火,淬火间断,必然增加回火区,影响淬火质量。为了防止熄火,我们采取了加挡板的办法。在火嘴与水嘴间,加一块0.5~2mm厚的400×300mm铁板,距火嘴的加热中心
