对于游标卡爪的修理,例如主尺量爪的修理,以前我们是采用铅质(钅郎)头或铜质(钅郎)头进行敲击来校正,这样不但主尺量爪容易断裂,变形大,而且主尺头部被敲的印痕相当严重,大大缩短了使用寿命。副尺经敲击后,同样损坏率高,难达到要求。同时敲击过程中,由于用力不能控制,有时过大或过小,敲后的修磨余量过多或过少,使修磨很费时间。针对这种情况,制成了一台游标卡爪调整机(见图),可修复200毫米和125毫米的两种游标卡尺。
