1998年年初以来,江西省会昌县部省联造速生丰产林经营权拍卖的槌声一次次擂响。农民和单位职工把购买部省联营造林经营权看作新的投资热点。到8月初止,全县共有21个单位40名干部、职工和120名农民以独资、合股形式获得了826.7hm~2基地林木35年至40年的经营权。会昌县林业部门通过拍卖部省联造林经营权,转移银行贷款80多万元,还收回各项费用42万元,间伐抚育所需的30多万元配套资金也同步到位。
