The relations between Kazakhstan and China have far-reaching historical origins. Although the establishment of diplomatic relations has only been 14 years, the achievements made in these 14 years have exceeded the sum of the previous 100 years achievements. The salient feature of the current Kazakhstan-China relations is the establishment of a system for implementing the agreements and contracts that have been reached. The Joint Declaration on the Establishment and Development of Strategic Partnerships, the Treaty of Good Neighbors, Friendship and Cooperation, the 2003-2008 Cooperation Framework and the Cooperation Council of Vice Premier are all the basis for the stability of bilateral relations. The development direction of the bilateral relations is to develop the strategic partnership in the long term and stability. Due to the trust that has formed between the two heads of state, there is no political issue between Kazakhstan and China.
