当你使用体温计时,一定会感觉到水银柱不容易看清,因为水银的本色是银白色。如果把水银着上颜色就方便多了,但是在水银中混入着色剂要影响体温计的性能,必须另外想办法。 1979年4月在日本上市了一种水银着上蓝色的平形体温计,白色的刻度板配上蓝色的水银柱,反差极好,容易读数。平形体温计中的毛细管柱叫做芯,是由透明玻璃制成。芯内的毛细管孔直径仅为0.02毫米。为了使肉眼能看清这么细的水银柱,必须把它放大到1~1.2毫米。所以其截面如图1所示,为椭园形,起到高放大倍数的凸透镜作用。在普通体温计上,入射光线照到水银柱上后向I方向反射,人眼看到的
