语言教学在某种程度上也是培养学生文化意识的教学。大学英语教学不应仅仅停留在语言的表层结构上。作为大学英语教学重要组成部分的词汇教学,更应充分树立起文化意识,增强文化因素的渗透和导入,将单纯教授语言变成教授语言的同时培养文化意识,以提高教学质量,增强学生的跨文化交际能力。
