2001年11月由浦东新区政府和外高桥保税区管委会主办的“上海外高桥保税区现代国际物流发展研讨会”，对于把外高桥保税区建成国内最大、亚太地区最具竞争力的现代国际物流基地之一提供了积极的理论先导。本刊上期刊登了有关从宏观上分析“外高桥物流”的定位、走势的一组文章后引起广泛关注，本期再发表一组文章，从操作层面探讨 “外高桥物流”的功能特色和现实基础，便为海内外投资者提供更为透明的决策依据，也希望有识之士提出更好的真知灼见。
