This article is an interview with British print journalist Andy McCourt at the New Zealand International Printing Exhibition. James Bitner is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of printing film and printing media—a leading American Polaroid company. Recently, he went to New Zealand to visit the 94 Printing Technology Exhibition. He went to Australia to inspect the progress of Polaroid’s new film and finished plate factory in Melbourne. The company’s parent companies are Sun Chemical and Dainippon Ink & Chemicals Group, with US$6 billion in assets and the world’s largest supplier of printing industry materials (excluding pulp and paper). So, who is more suitable for reporters than Mr. James Bitner for the development trend of new films and printing plates and even new products that have an impact on the printing industry?
