福建厦门集美老年大学刚开办时,童碧云和老伴李麟声就双双入学。22年过去了,如今童碧云依然是老年大学的快乐一员。她深有感触地说:“上老年大学是我晚年生活中必不可少的一部分,那里有我渴望获得的知识、健康、友情和欢乐。”刚退休时,体弱多病的童碧云不足80斤,如今却精神抖擞、健步如飞。有些不熟悉的人问她七十几时,她便自豪地纠正说:“我八十多岁了!如果不是上老年大学,也许我早就不在人世了!”
