很多人对待药品就像对待食品一样,过期不久就随手扔掉了,但美国加州大学旧金山分校、欧文分校及其他机构的一些研究人员在美国《内科学文献》网络版上发表的研究结果显示,很多药品过了标注的有效期几十年后依然有效。研究人员对在药库中存放了很多年、以为早已变质的8种药品进行了检测。这些药品已经超过标注有效期28~40年。研究人员把这些片状和胶囊药品溶解后利用质谱仪进行了化学分析。

However, according to a study published in the online edition of the American Internal Medicine Bulletin by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, Irvine and other institutions, Many drugs have been marked after the expiration of several decades still valid.
