中国原子能科学研究院研制成功了我国首台强流回旋加速器综合试验装置,该回旋加速器加速负氢离子、剥离引出10MeV质子束,内靶流强达到430μA。为了进一步提高引出流强,利用该实验台架加速H2+离子,剥离引出质子是一重要的研究课题。通过这种方法可引出最高为5MeV的质子,虽然能量降低1半,但是引出束流流强可增加1倍。为了得到所需的H2+离子,1台稳定、束流强度大、可长期运行的离子源是必需的。本文介绍用于产生H2+离子的紧凑型、全永磁ECR离子源的设计。
China Institute of Atomic Energy successfully developed China's first comprehensive experimental device for high-intensity cyclotron. The cyclotron accelerated the negative hydrogen ions, stripped 10MeV proton beam, the target flow to reach 430μA. In order to further improve the extraction flow, it is an important research topic to accelerate the H2 + ions by using the experimental bench. By this method, protons up to 5 MeV can be induced, and although the energy is reduced by a half, the intensity of the extracted beam current can be doubled. In order to obtain the required H2 + ions, a stable, beam intensity, long-term operation of the ion source is required. This article describes the design of a compact, all-permanent ECR ion source for generating H2 + ions.
